The Wainwright Fells in alphabetic order. These pictures are taken at different times and seasons with the more recent and more frequent due to the advent of digital cameras and good compact ones too.
Each Fell title will have the grid reference approximation and feet in height. Some images will be on the way to the fell top, some once on the fell top and the hills around and some on the way down including the valley bottoms.
They are not intended as a guide and copyright is retained by myself.
Most of the Fells I walked by myself but on occasions I had the company of my wife, our children or my brother.
The bulk of the pictures are taken from around 2005 onwards> More will be added as I continue with my completion of the Birketts.
The hills are eternal. Always there will be the lonely ridge, the dancing beck, the silent forest; always there will be the exhilaration of the summits. These are for the seeking." Thanks Alfred.
